Building a Winning Tradition provides an overview of the processes that can be used to help develop winning programs. Suggestions and ideas featured in the DVD were utilized by the author in his development of teams in their infancy to eventual state championships in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Special emphasis in the DVD is placed on the time, commitment, and sacrifices a coach must make to ensure success. Among the topics covered: promoting fan participation, how to sell your program, building your coaching staff, recognizing the accomplishments of your athletes, use of role models, and coaching with a passion.
