Water 4-1-1
Quite obviously, water is different than land. As such, health/fitness professionals who are water (and land) instructors need to fully understand these differences in order to best serve those individuals (clients and students) who come to them for water-fitness programming. Water 4-1-1 provides an overview of the key differences between these two vastly different types of workout environments and reviews the impact of these factors on water-fitness programming. Among the topics covered: properties of water, environment, goal setting, six basic cardio moves, intensity manipulation, and S.W.E.A.T. chart. Produced in cooperation with the IDEA Health & Fitness Association.
